A very famous song sung in many households to wake up the Lord of Seven hills in the morning reciting the 29 slokas. The lyrics of Suprabatham (wake up prayer to Lord Venkatesha). This ritual is rendered everyday compulsorily at Tirumala temple in Tirupathi. The rendition by M.S. Subbulakshmi can be heard in many Tamil & Telugu houses each morning.Devotees present at the time of Suprabhatam can have the Lord's Suprabhata Darsanam, also called Viswarupa Sarvadarsanam in Tirumala Tirupati.
As you can observe, each and every stanza ends with the word suprabhatum meaning “may it be an auspicious dawn to You”. Whoever recites this hymn with devotion in the mornings Sri venkateshwara endows him with excellent knowledge of the Supreme Truth that leads to Salvation.
