Keeper is a flexible point-of-sale invoicing system, inventory management system, and sales analysis system. It is designed to analyze the kinds of sales your shop is making as well as keep constant track of your sales, customers, suppliers and inventory. As a point-of-sale invoicing system Keeper automatically shows an inventory item’s description when you enter a stock number; a feature that can virtually eliminate price tag switching. At the end of the day Keeper gives you an instant total of receipts to use as a cash register cross-check. Keeper keeps track of your customers and prints mailing labels with or without Postnet barcodes. Keeper also keeps track of your customers' desires with a "wish list." You can search your customers' wish lists automatically when you enter new inventory. As a sales analysis system Keeper displays and prints the amounts and percentages of sales in various categories you specify as well as sales and percentages of sales by supplier. Keeper’s reports can help you zero in on fast-moving inventory and reduce your investment in items that sit on the shelves. As an inventory management system Keeper prints price tags with or without barcodes, keeps track of your inventory, and displays and prints statements that show what you owe your consignors at the end of each month. Each statement is printed with the consignor’s name and address located so that you can use a standard number 10 window envelope to mail your payment. Keeper also gives you totals for sales, cost of goods sold, and gross profit for any period you specify — figures you can transfer directly to your general ledger.Keeper has special features for tracking consignment sales, but if you’re a merchant who does not handle consignments, you can ignore these features. A complete Keeper manual in Acrobat Reader format is available for download from http://www.peakinfosystems.com/keeper.html.
