The DSA Test 2012 Background

As a response to the ever increasing traffic volumes on our roads and the increased skill sets needed to drive safely in these conditions, the multiple choice theory test for learner drivers and riders was introduced in 1996 with the hazard perception part following in 2002.

Learning the answers to the theory test questions will also help you with your practical driving lessons because as you gain experience you will start to relate what you have learned to the real world of driving.

The DSA Car Theory practice test material is split into 14 topics:

-Accidents-Alertness-Attitude-Documents-Hazard Awareness-Motorway Rules-Other Types of Vehicle-Road and Traffic Signs-Rules of the Road-Safety and Your Vehicle-Safety Margins-Vehicle Handling-Vehicle Loading-Vulnerable Road Users

In the test you will be asked 50 questions and to pass you will need to correctly answer 43 questions.
