This release, we ask for both Camera and Storage permissions. We are laying the foundation for a receipt capturing tool launching soon. Travelers can take photos of receipts (camera permissions) and extract receipt images from their camera roll (storage permissions). With no plans to use these capabilities on your device until we release RECEIPTS, we hope this adds a bit of transparency.
