UNetbootin allows the user to create a bootable Live USB drive for a variety of distributions from Windows or Linux. The application can either download one of the many distributions supported or let the user supply its own Linux .iso file. UNetbootin can also make an install on the local hard disk if the user doesn't have a USB drive. It can load any distribution by automatically downloading its ISO files, or by using existing ISO files, hard disk images, or kernel files.
