The University of the Philippines College Admission Test, commonly known as UPCAT, is part of the admission requirements of the University of the Philippines, administered to graduates of Philippine and foreign high schools. UPCAT was first administered in 1968. The UPCAT consists of 4 subtests: Language Proficiency (in English and Filipino), Reading Comprehension (in English and Filipino), Science, and Math. Standardized scores on these subtests are combined with the weighted average of final grades in the last three years of high school to determine qualification into the University.
