VeinSeek is a live video processing app. By principles of multispectral imaging and the intrinsic optical properties of skin, images of skin produced using this processing technique may show veins with increased contrast. The effect is typically most pronounced with diffuse, indirect/overhead white lighting, and in light-to-moderately pigmented skin types, from a distance of about 1-2 feet. VeinSeek has three settings: Normal (which displays the normal video feed from the camera), VeinSeek (which displays the processed video feed) and VeinSeekHigh (which displays a slightly modified version of the processed video feed that may perform better under imperfect lighting conditions).
