READ FIRST BEFORE REPLYING NEGATIVE: This app uses google maps and navigation beta which are five star programs, if it doesnt work right for you your doing something wrong. If it freezes or is not accurate has nothing to do with this program, either you have something disabled or your not giving google maps proper permissions. If you never used google maps on your phone yes it will be slow to load the first time. If it works well for you please comment, I have almost 1k downloaded and 4 out of 1000 are the only ones thats commented on it not working for them.
For most accuracy turn on gps with assist and wireless networks. When it accesses google maps set it to walking for feet measurement, then get directions. Also for even finer pin point measurment tap the blue icon in the top right corner to access google navigation beta which gives you aerial satellite view and voice assist, with a arrow that changes direction with your phone to guide you. It can only be as accurate as the map system allows it and if you use it and only walk 5ft away it will most likely give a faulty reading.
Great app with a simple interface. When you park your car hit the "Remember this Location" button and go about your business. When your ready to locate your car, hit the "Remembered Location" button to access a map that will lead you to your vehicle. You can use this with other forms of transportation also, such as motorcycles,bikes, or any other object you place at a distance. For best results set maps to walking distance, This will provide measurement in feet. If your bicycling use bicycle setting, driving use driving setting etc. etc. For best accuracy use gps, assisted gps and cell towers.
