Note that this app is for ARMv7 processor (Nexus One uses this processor) only for this beta release. Future release may support more types of processors.
You can use the app "Know CPU for RockPlayer" to get your CPU type.
This app is at very early stage, it might not be so convenient to use, but it shows the idea how the powerful FFMPEG utility can be used at Android platform.
It brings the FFMPEG command line to Android, which allows you to do transcoding, resizing, encapsulation and a lot of other stuff.
