Homebuilder Scheduler is a dynamic user friendly construction scheduling software program. This program was designed for the one time owner builder or residential contractor. It generates all the important time lines and dates for a schedule without the high cost of the major scheduling software programs. Homebuilder Scheduler is a flexible construction application which is only limited by the imagination and ability of the user. The program is made up of five divisions which are divided into five phases which are divided into sixty categories. For example a builder could schedule five divisions(houses) with five phases each (clearing, house construction, landscape, pool, etc.) and each phase having sixty categories of construction such as footings, framing, plumbing, etc..  All of these divisions, phases , categories are able to be scheduled and tracked independently of each other but all can add a time line that is very important to the overall completion schedule of the project. With this application the builder is able to create custom category templates which can be saved and used over and over. Once all the categories are entered, the duration to complete each category is entered. The schedule is automatically created and generated on the screen. The schedule is created as if all the tasks were in the critical path. This can be changed by entering the days to adjust. This will allow the builder to start a new task before the previous one is complete. As the actual start and finish dates are entered, the program will calculate whether the schedule is ahead or behind schedule. The percentage of tasks that are not complete can be entered and saved. At any time during the construction process, the builder can get a complete print out of the progress of the project either on the screen or on paper. As you can see Homebuilder Scheduler can be a beneficial tool for any builder who is serious about keeping an up to date schedule of his construction projects.
