Nxtrend - Android app to control your Xtrend STB and to video stream (LAN only). With Nxtrend you can control your Xtrend STB using most features which you normally can do through the decoder's Web Interface or your Remote Control. You can set and handle timers, read EPG, consult your movies/recordings, send messages and much more. Many features are also available remotely if you set up port-forwarding on your router. You can also use Nxtrend and its virtual Remote Control in replacement of your original Remote Control (most commands are supported). In addition, you can watch TV and movies by streaming in your LAN. All this directly from your Android. This is an early release and with the help of you Xtrend-users, we trust to improve Nxtrend further over the next updates. There is a support-forum at www.et-view-support.com where you are more than welcome to communicate bugs, add your suggestions for improvements or discuss the app in general. A FAQ has also been published there which should cover most common questions you may have in regard to Nxtrend. Please note that in case of streaming problems, the majority are not related to Nxtrend but more likely to your network, decoder and/or Android video-player. Please consider this before giving bad ratings. For help in resolving any problems you have, you may consult the forum mentioned above. Also, please don't publish any questions together with your comments when rating Nxtrend since we cannot reply to them. It is better to use the forum. Thank you. If you like Nxtrend, please rate it!We hope you will enjoy Nxtrend just as much as we have enjoyed developing this first release.Your Xtrend-Support-TeamNotes: -to use Nxtrend, an Xtrend/ClarkTech STB is required. However, Nxtrend supports multiple-profiles and once you have set up an original Xtrend/Clarke-Tech decoder in your decoder-profiles, you may add other Linux-based decoders (compatabile with E1 and E2).-for streaming TV and movies in your LAN, a rather powerful Android-device is required but most higher end devices sold over last two years should be sufficient. In addition, you need to install an external Android video-player such as VPlayer(pay-app) or DaroonPlayer/MX Video Player (free).
